Then we have to start looking at what we're doing to make what we desire a reality. Are we saving or splurging, being reasonable with our purchases and choices or letting money just fall from our hands? All of this plays a part in what we get and what we're able to do with it.

So, what changes can you make in your life right now that would make you feel better about your financial situation? Is your lack of a savings account gnawing at you? What could you do to start padding it a bit more? Are you using your credit cards a bit too liberally, when you should really be using cash? Do you have any expenses now that you can eliminate or reduce? Is it high time for a budget? Could you start cooking at home more rather than eating out five nights a week?
Ultimately, you don’t need money to create certain types of feelings, and you can create them now. What can you do now that gives you a greater sense of freedom? Perhaps it is learning to say no more, being more selective with how you spend your time, or scaling back on commitments. What can you do to feel fulfilled now? Maybe it is doing some sort of volunteer work, or making time for a hobby.
From now on, everyday for 2 to 3 minutes and for at least 3 times a day feel in your mind that you have already achieved your goal. Feel it with your 5 senses (Touch, Hear, See, Smell and Taste). For example, you are at Starbucks with someone – see the scenario, smell the coffee, feel the taste of hot coffee which you are sipping from the cup you are holding in your hand, and you can hear the sounds of footsteps and the coffee machine.
